ABOUT THIS POSITION

We invite a Senior Web Designer to join our design studio specializing in web design, branding, and digital content for online women entrepreneurs. Our clients are primarily seeking feminine, beautiful, and strategic design for their online businesses, and the quality and aesthetic of the design style is very important to us.

Studio Classica is looking for a Sr. Web Designer who can work directly with the CEO/Creative Director and closely with the Project/Business Manager to manage the project design, direction, and development with regard to Kajabi websites, sales pages, and course creation along with some work in WordPress, Squarespace, Showit, and other website platforms as needed. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating beautiful, high-quality design, is good at branding and visual graphics, and has a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally in the online world.

Volume and timing will fluctuate, so ideal candidates will be flexible, organized and proactive, able to integrate their current workload in with ours. The overall goal is to create space for Elizabeth, CEO to focus more specifically on the company vision, creative direction and design vision, client relationships, etc. The Sr. Web Designer should be able to handle high priority clientele and project design development.

 
YOU’RE PERFECT FOR STUDIO CLASSICA IF…

• You are fluent in English or at least comfortable working and speaking in English.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment that values quality work and attention to detail.
• You are a creative problem solver, committed to excellent design, and reliable with deadlines.
• You are a great communicator and have excellent written communication skills.
• You are able to keep the CEO/Creative Director and PM/OBM updated regularly about the progress of projects.
• You have experience with Kajabi. You know the ins and outs of Kajabi, and are comfortable building on the platform without major assistance
• You have experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (ability to work with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools). You also understand Canva, and have no problems using it to its full extent.
• You have an eye for feminine and strategically led brands and designs; you have a great sense of style; an understanding of typography, color, photography, and composition; sensitivity to user interaction and storytelling through design.
• You are great at taking the brand identity and creating a site that accurately reflects the brand
• You have great time management skills and are able to consistently meet or exceed deadlines
• You receive feedback well and are able to adjust accordingly.
• You enjoy solving problems creatively.
• You are a self-starter and take pride and enjoyment in delivering high-quality, beautiful work.
• You like the thought of working in a connected and collaborative team environment.
• You are eager to learn, and you are open to growing as a designer.

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Expertise: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar software.
• HTML/CSS Knowledge: A good understanding of HTML and CSS is preferred to work effectively with developers.
• Creativity: Exceptional creative and artistic abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English), to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions to design challenges.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing client requirements and industry trends.
• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in web design, graphic design, architecture, or a related creative field is preferred.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Web Design: Create visually stunning and user-friendly websites that align with client objectives and brand identity. Develop the design layout and direction of websites, sales pages, and courses.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements, provide creative solutions, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project. Implement client revisions effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Update project progress and consistently communicate with the CEO and Project/Business Manager regarding status updates. Support the CEO/creative director with various design and multimedia tasks. Participate actively in the creative process and brainstorming new ideas. Implement designs created by team members in Kajabi, Wordpress, and occasionally other platforms.
• Project Leadership: Lead and mentor junior designers on design projects, ensuring that design standards and best practices are followed.
• Responsive Design: Design websites that are responsive and mobile-friendly, optimizing the user experience across various devices.
• Innovative Solutions: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to projects when appropriate.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance and testing to ensure the functionality and design of websites meet high standards.
• Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously with balance and ease, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
